Abstract
This study aims to explore the implementation of collaborative strategies in English language teaching at Tarus Tengah Christian High School in Kupang. There are two main focuses: (1) analyzing the implementation of collaborative strategies by teachers, and (2) identifying the obstacles teachers face in applying these strategies. This research employs a qualitative approach, using data collection methods such as observation and interviews. The findings indicate that most collaborative aspects have been effectively implemented, including balanced group division and effective management of discussion time. Despite challenges in group dynamics, such as uneven participation, the applied strategies successfully enhance student engagement. Furthermore, this study emphasizes the importance of designing collaborative projects that are relevant and engaging for students. The results are expected to provide insights into the significance of collaborative strategies in improving the quality of learning and developing students' social skills.
