Abstract
This study was conducted to improve students' vocabulary mastery in English learning using Pop-Up Book media at SMP Negeri 1 Amanatun Selatan. The method used in this research is quantitative, and the research design is Pre-Experimental. The sample for this research was 30 students. The data were collected using vocabulary tests administered before and after the treatment. The data analysis used simple statistical analysis and a t-test. The findings showed a significant increase in students' vocabulary mastery, with the mean score improving from 50.33 in the pre-test to 77.33 in the post-test. The t-test result showed that the t-value (17.24) was higher than the t-table value (1.69), indicating that the alternative hypothesis (H1) was accepted. The hypothesis is successful. In conclusion, the use of Pop-Up Book media has a significant effect on improving the vocabulary mastery of seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Amanatun Selatan.
