Abstract
This research aims to analyze teacher evaluate materials teaching English in classroom at SMP Negeri Satap Fotilo. This research used descriptive qualitative. The research locus of this research at SMP Negeri Satu Atap Fotilo Amanatun Utara district, Timor Tengah Selatan Regency, Province of East Nusa Tenggara. The type of the data is qualitative and for data resource the author divided into two, namely primary data and secondary data. For collection the author used interview. The author interview a teacher at SMP Negeri Satap Fotilo of his teacher materialFor analysis the data the author used data reduction, data presentation, and withdrawal conclusion/verification. The conclusion in this study is that teachers use certain books, teachers use books effectively in class, teachers use books only when the teaching and learning process takes place in class, teachers only rely on books, teachers collect books. The result in this studi can be used a reference for improving the materials in teaching English.
