Abstract

This research aims to describe the characters of the main characters in the films LayanganPutus and “The World Of The Married” and compare two the personality of the main characters. This research is qualitative research that uses literature study. The results of researchsshowed that the main characters of the two films have their id, ego and superego personality. While the similarities of the main female characters (Kinan and Ji Sun Woo) have more dominant superego character. The differences are that Kinan has a superego character which is more dominant in the superego characteristic, namely liking to help other people. Meanwhile, Ji Sun Woo has a superego character, characterized by feeling guilty after making a mistake. While the similarities of main male characters (Aris and Lee Tae Oh) have more dominant id personality.The differences areAris has an id personality which is more dominant in id characteristics, namely energy to fulfill basic needs, while Lee Tae Oh has an id personality which is more dominant in id characteristics, namely a dark personality.
