Abstract

The title of this writing “Teachers’ strategies in improving the students’ creativity in learning English at SMPN 3 Amarasi Barat” The research problems of the study were: What are teachers’ strategies in improving the students’ creative in learning English at SMPN 3 Amarasi Barat? The aim of this study was to find out teachers’ strategies in improving the students’ creative learning English at SMPN 3 Amarasi Barat. The method used in this writing is qualitative method. The data of this resarch is taken from SMPN 3 Amarasi Barat. The result of this study showed that strategies that used by teachers in improving the students’ creativity in learning English at SMPN 3 Amarasi Barat are namely: autocratic strategies, Group Discussion, Students Presentation and Brainstorming. The suggestion of this study is the English teacher should be able in choosing what strategies in teaching English relevant to with the students’ ability needs and interests
