Abstract

This research entitled the use of song to improve students vocabulary. The purposes of this research is to find out the improvement of using song in vocabulary teaching. The research uses descriptif Quantitative experiments to find the results. The Resercher used song to improved students’ vocabulary as the research problem. writer conduct this research in SMA N 1 Taebenu. The all data was colleted from the instruments about the lyrics of song. Reason of the researcher to use song was make students happy by teaching and improve the mood to the class. The result of this study shows that there are:Mean(83,7)Std.error of mean (8,12)median (50,00),mode (x:50y:90)std. Deviation (x:14,80) Variance X:418,382) Range (X:55) Minimum (X:20 Y:75) Sum (X:135,00Y:2344,00).
