Abstract

This research entitled “The Use of Repetition Method to Improve Students’ Vocabulary to the Seventh-Grade of SMP Negeri 3 Sabu Barat. The research problem is: Does the Use of Repetition method improve students’ vocabulary at the seventh-grade of SMP Negeri 3 Sabu Barat? The aim of this study is to find out whether or not the use of repetition method improve students’ vocabulary at the seventh grade of SMP Negeri 3 Sabu Barat. In this study the writer used quantitative especially Pre-experimental design. Based on the analysis it was found that there is an improvement between the students’ vocabulary before and after giving treatment by using Repetition Method that can be proved through the result that showed that the pre test is 33 and the post test is 66, then the t-test value is 12,614 due t-table is 1,717 the t-test is higher than t-table, So the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted in the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected.
