Abstract

The phonological process is a process of phonological change in some segments of a word. This study is conducted to analyze some phonological processes that occur in Kupang Malay. There is aim of study in this research is to describe the phonological processes that occur in the episode “Wisuda”. The study used the descriptive qualitative method. The result shows the most dominant phonological process is dissimilation (substitution) with eight examples of substitution processes. Insertion one example and the deletion three examples. From the result, there are phonological processes of Kupang Malay namely coalescence of Kupang Malay there are four examples. By doing this study, the researcher expects the findings of this study to be a reference for future research.
