Abstract
The title of this writing is an analysis on English Teacherʹs Lesson Plans for Students of SMA Negeri 12 Maluku Barat Daya. The aim of this study is to know whether lesson plans prepared by English teacher at SMA Negeri 12 Maluku Barat Daya reffrs to curriculum 2013 or not, the way and the obstacles faced by English teachers in designing lesson plan. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subject of this study was English teachers at SMA Negeri 12 Maluku Barat Daya consisting of 3 English teachers. The object of this research is learning implementation plan prepared by the teachers. The data obtained through interviews observation and documentation. The data obtained were then analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques. The results of the data were then concluded according to the research problem.The result shows that the writers expectation of all lesson plans prepared by English teachers are not actually fulfilling standard of curriculum 2013 although the lesson plans developed by English teachers at SMA Negeri 12 Maluku Barat Daya consisted of nine components. The result of analysis of all lesson plans had some weaknesses which are not referring to curriculum 2013. In some component such as core competence, basic competence, and source of learning, and assessment. The teachers designed the curriculum 2013 lesson plan individually. Furthermore, the obstacles faced by the teacher are inadequate facilities and still confused about the curriculum 2013 learning system.
