Abstract

This article is the result of research on counseling services to counselees of different churches and religions. Is there a possibility that counselees from different churches and religions would be helped? The research used a qualitative method in which we focused on descriptive data that refer to the spoken words and behaviors of the counselees. The research took place at the Yayasan Tembok Ratapan Timor, Kupang, NTT. Here, it was found that counselees from different churches and religions could solve their own problems when their potentials were revealed. The Carl Rogers’ humanist approach used by the counselor was very effective in maximizing the potential of the counselee. Through the theology of religions overview, finally, it is concluded that God's love is worthy of being enjoyed by counselees of different religions.
