Abstract
This thesis is entitled Factors Causing Children Drop Out of School at SMPN Nilopo, inOeleu Village, of Kolbano District, in Academic Year2020/2021. The problem is what are the internal factors and external factors causing children drop out of school atSMPNNilopo, inOeleu Village, of Kolbano District, in Academic Year2020/2021?. The purpose of this study was to finding out the internal factors and external factors causing children drop out of school at SMPN Nilopo, inOeleu Village, of Kolbano District, in Academic Year2020/2021. The theory used in this study is the theory of internal and external factors that causing children to drop out of school according to (Dinda, 2018). In this study the writer uses is a qualitative descriptive method. Tocollecting data using interviewmethods. To technique analysis data the writer uses descriptive qualitative. The results of this study found that the factors causing children drop out of school were are: 1 Internal factors, including: 1) Children'sIntelligence. 2) Children not interest in school. 2. External factors include: 1) Economic factor, 2) Attention parents factor.
