Abstract
This research is entitled " An Analysis of Test Item in English Subject Final Test of Ten Grade Students at SMA Negeri 2 Kupang. The problems of this research are 1. What is the level of difficulty of the English Subject Final Test of Ten Grade Students at SMA Negeri 2 Kupang? 2. How is the Discrimination power of English Subject Final Test of Ten Grade Students at SMA Negeri 2 Kupang? 3. How is the effectiveness of Distractor of English Subject Final Test of Ten Grade Students at SMA Negeri 2 Kupang? To answer this question, the author uses a quantitative descriptive method. The data collection technique used is the documentation technique. The results of the research on the final exam in English at SMA Negeri 2 Kupang are: a) In terms of level of difficulty, there are 3 items (7.5%) very difficult, 2 items (5%) difficult, 2 items (5%) moderate, 16 items ( 40%) easy and 17 (42.5%) very easy. b) In terms of differentiating power, there are 1 item (2.5%) very poor, 28 items (70%) poor, 8 items (20%) moderate, 3 items (7.5%) good and 0% very good. c) In terms of distractor effectiveness, there are 4 items (10%) very good, 11 items (27.5%) good, 13 items (32.5%) moderate, 9 items (22.5%) poor and 3 items (7, 5%) is very bad. Thus, it can be concluded that the questions used in the final exam in the Language subject at SMA Negeri 2 Kupang were Satisfactory questions.
