Abstract

This study deal with investigating the use of conjunction in short movie human trafficking use uab meto by March Almen YouTube channel. This study aims to discover the types and the dominant type of conjunction in short movie human trafficking by March Almen. Qualitative content analysis was utilized in this study. The source of the data was taken from March Almen YouTube channel entitled human trafficking published in 2017. The data weres analyzed by using taxonomy of conjunction stated by Haryoni-charty (2008). From the analysis, it was concluded that there to be 2 types of conjunction used in the data namely coordinate conjunction and subordinate conjunction, in coordinate conjunction the writer found 4 types of conjunction, namely ; Cumulative conjunction, alternative conjunction, adversative conjunction, and illative conjunction, then the dominant type of conjunction found by cumulative conjunction with 4 occurrences (28,6%), which is successively followed by alternative conjunction with 3 occurrences (21,5%), illative type 3 occurrences (21,5%), adversative type with 2 occurrences (14,2%), and the last one is subordinate conjunction with 2 occurrences (14,2%).
