Abstract
The research problems of this study are “1) What are the forms of jargons words found in the Movie Mowgli Legend of the Jungle? 2) What are the meaning of jargon found in the Movie Mowgli Legend of the Jungle?. And the aims of study from this research are 1) to find out the forms of jargons words found in the Movie Mowgli Legend of the Jungle. 2) To find out the meaning of jargon found in the Movie Mowgli Legend of the Jungle. The data was collected or taken from Mowgli Legend of the Jungle movie script. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The result of this study shows that there are two forms of jargon. First, word such as(I found the man-cub. I saw chaos and darkness come to our lands. Lack of focus. You are getting faster. Your master calls. The man village. A council must be held), second is phrase such as (I am the jungle's eyes. You do not want to challenge me. I saw chaos and darkness come to our lands. Eyes forward). Then, there are two types the meaning of jargon the first is denotative meaning such as (Lack of focus. The man village. It's a lovely night, isn't it?. A council must be held), and the second is connotative meaning such as (Jungle eyes’. Chaos and darkness. I found the man-cub. Your master calls). The jargon, forms and meanings has been described by using the two forms of jargon and the two meaning of jargon based on script of Mowgli Legend of the Jungle Movie.
