Abstract

The aims of this study is to find out types of moral values showed in Dolittle movie which presented by Stephen Gaghan.This study applied descriptive-qualitative research. The object of this study was scenes and dialogues in movie entitled Dolittle. The primary data of this research were taken from Dolittle movie. Meanwhile the secondary data were taken from the books, journal, articles, internet. Transcript of the movie also used as supporting data. Some steps were undertaken during the data collection: watching the movie, finding the transcript, and categorizing the data. The result of this study showed that there were 3moral valuesfound in Dolittle movie. Types of the moral falues are: as follows: 1. Moral knowing; consits of: responsibility, respect, justice, tolerence, wisdom and democracy. 2. Moral feeling, consists of: altruism, love and loyalty and self-dicipline. 3. Moral action, consits of: courage, help each other and never give up.
