Abstract

This study is about Students perception of the use of social media in learning English. The writer conducted this study under the title “A STUDY ON STUDENTS’ PERCEPTION ON SOCIAL MEDIA TO LEARN ENGLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE AT SMA ADVENT NUSRA. A. It is what is students’ perception on the use of social media to learn English. There were twenty students of SMA Advent Nusrainvolved in this study. To attain the aims of this study.The data collected were analyzed using qualitative descriptions. The findings reveal that students have three views on social media experienced during online learning through social media, namely students' views on the use of social media while studying, students' views on how to learn through social media, and students' views on learning English as a foreign language through social media.
