Abstract

The title of this writing was” The use of powerpoint to increase the vocabulary mastery of seventh grade students of smp adhyaksa 2 kota kupang in school year 2021/2022 ( a pre- experimental study).And the research problem is can the use of powerpoint increase of students vocabulary mastery. The purpose of this research is to find out how is the increase of students vocabulary mastery.This research is an experimental research and used quantitative method. And the technique of data analysis takes from the pre test and post test to take the data from the seventh grade students based on the research poblem. And theory from sugiyono about pre- experimental design includes only one group or class that is given pre test and post test. There are two kinds of tests used, namely pre test and post test. The results showed that: frist,there were differences in students’vocabulary mastery before and after the teacher gave the material using powerpoint and without using powerpoint. The average pre test1530 while the average post test is 2070. Therefore, there is a difference after using powerpoint in learning process to improve students’ vocabulary mastery and it can be proven that the use of powerpoint has a greatly influence to increase students’ vocabulary mastery at Smp Adhyaksa 2 Kupang in the Academic year 2021/2022.
