Abstract
This thesis is entitled: “An Analisys of Dialect Variation In Amanuban. “This study was conducted to answer the problem, namely: what are the factor influences the variation dialect in Amanuban? The method used in this stdy was, descriptive qualitative method. It was used to find out the factors that influences the dialect variation in Amanuban. The subject of this study was the people in Amanuban who live in Kuatnana district, especially in Tetaf sub distict. They were 10 informants as the subject of this study. The instrument used in this study was the tools that used in this study. The obtained data were analyzed by using procedures, such as: collecting, classifying, analyzing and describing. The result shows that: there are 4 factors that influence dialect variation in Amanuban. The factors are as follows: 1). By age: For example: Command: Dodi, om he mait oe he muniu (Dodi, come here to get water to take bath’). Response: Au peh kuk (I’m lazy). 2). By Education: For example: Command: Liat la i suan ka (This child is so naughty) Response: Mau tum haim palen. (Well, we will advice him).3. By Job: For example: Mut nan om neo uis Neno (Surrender your life to God). 4. By Nobinity: For example: Tok neu tok o (Sit down please). Au auba he tunok neo tok o (Sit down please).
