Abstract
The title of this writing is ‘‘ A Study On Translation FromBahasa Indonesia Into English of Second year students of SMA Kristen 2 Kalabahi In School Year 2021/2022.The research problem of this studyare (1).What are types of translation used to translate the text from Bahasa Indonesia into English of second year students of SMA Kristen 2 Kalabahi. (2). What are the processes used to translate text from Bahasa Indonesia into English of second years students of SMA Kristen 2 Kalabahi. The aims of this study are (1). To describe the type of translation used to translate the text from Bahasa Indonesia into English of second years students of SMA Kristen 2 Kalabahi. (2). To identify the process of translate used to the text from Bahasa Indonesia into English of second year students of SMA Kristen 2 Kalabahi. In this research the writer used qualitative method. The place of this research were 15 sample of SMA Kristen 2 Kalabahi. Data collection technique in this research used descriptive qualitative method was procedure which analysed translation from Bahasa Indonesia into English. The instruments used in this research the writer used observation . After analyzing the data, the writer found that there are two type of translation, namely: First,Literal translation.Second, Idiomatic translation.furthermore there are three processes of translation,namely : First. Analysis of source language text. Second.transference of Message. Third.Restructurisation.writer hopes this research will add more knowledge about translation ofBahasa Indonesia into English and its processes.
