Abstract

The title of this writing was “ A Descriptive Study of Learning Styles Through Teaching English for Young Learners Using Three Games Amidst Pandemic at SD Inpres Sanggaoen – Rote”. The researcher problem of this study is, what are the students learning styles of teaching English using three games amidst pandemic at SD Inpres Sanggaoen – Rote. The purpose of this study was to investigate the learning styles of students in the second grade of Sd Inpres Sanggaoen – Rote. This is a qualitative research, this research includes teaching using three games, observation and analysis data. The result showed that the are three types of students learning styles in the second grade of SD Inpres Sanggaoen – Rote. They are visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. Research also accommodate students learning styles using games that is Simon Says, Charades and Dabble. In learning the researcher use media such as part of body, pictures and cards in the form of the alphabet. Using games in learning, researcher can classify students learning styles. In addition, it can make the class more interesting and be used to increase students learning motivation.
