Abstract

This research is entitled "A Descriptive of english young learners’ characteristics at Tunas Gloria play group". The writer formulates 1 research question, namely:what are the characteristicsof young learners play group. The writer goal is: to find out the characteristics of young learners play group. This study used Rhalmi 2019: 208-213 theory regarding the characteristics of young learners play group. Of the 7 characteristics put forward by Rhalmi and the researchers also found 7 characteristics, namely: Get Bored Quickly, Young Learners Are Meaning-Oriented, Young Learners Like To Discover Things, They Prefer Concrete Activities, They Are More Egocentric, They Are Imaginative, They Imitate. From the results of this study the writers hope that the teacher will provide support and understanding the parents regaeding parental involvement in guiding and nurturing childrens character development.
