Abstract
The research problems of the study was Can the use of Show and Tell (S&T) method to improve the students vocabulary mastery of the second year students in SMP N 11 Kota Kupang? The method used in this writing is quantative method. The data of this resarch is taken from the the treatment of experiment class and control class in SMP N 11 Kota Kupang. The writer collected and analyzed the the use of Show and Tell (S&T) method to improve the students vocabulary mastery of the second year students in SMP N 11 Kota Kupang then presented the result. The result of analysis show that the use of Show and Tell (S&T) method can improve the students vocabulary mastery of the second year students in SMP N 11 Kota Kupang. It can be seen based on t-test measurement which show that significant value of test 0.000 ≤ 0,05. It means that there were different value between Experiment Class and Control Class.The writer hopes this study can add more knowledge about Show and Tell (S&T) method in teaching and learning.
