Abstract
The problems are formed into two questions: What are the structure rules of prepositional phrase in Uab Meto language? and How are the prepositional phrase in uab meto language used in sentence? The questions aim to find out the structure rules of prepositional phrase in Uab Meto language and to describe the use prepositional phrase in uab meto language used in sentence. The method used in this study was descriptive qualitatif. The data were gained from 3 native speakers that have fulfilled the criteria as informants by recording them telling some stories baesd on the given questions. According to the data, the writer found PP P (NP), PP P+N:( PP) There are 30 prepositional phrase in Uab Meto and 30 sentence in the NP in Uab Meto language.
