Abstract

The title on this note "Parents roles towards Students Online Learning during Pandemic Covid-19 at Benpasi-TTU (Timor Tengah Utara)". The Research problem from this research is what are the parents’ role of students in online learning at Benpasi-TTU. This study aim to know the role of parents toward students in online learning at Benpasi-TTU.This is a qualitative study that seeks to know the role of a parents in supervising their children during the implementation of online learning during the Covid-19. The research subjects are 10 parents of students with 10 questions to find out their responsibilities in the learning process from home. The datawere obtained by conducting interviews. The results showed that : 1) The role of parents as Educators ; parents always try to find solutions in overcoming children’s problems in online learning, 2) The role of parents as Motivators ; parents try to encourage children’s learning, 3) The role of parents as Models ; parents provide good example for children in building children’s character, improve discipline and provide good advice to children, 4) The role of parents as friends ; parents become friends with children, 5) The role of parents as Supervisors ; parents always supervise and accompany children in learning.
