Abstract

The aims of this study are to find out the similarities and differences of the plot structure. The method used is descriptive qualitative method. The result of this study show about similarities and differences on the plot structure of the movies. for examples this movies are similar in complication: a problem like theft, climax: in moment of great tension(a caracther usually must take a difficult decision), falling action: the complication shorted out and resolution: the conflic is finished (are not similar to resolved the conflic). After that, this movies are differences in Exposition: are begins with the differents problems and resolution: to resolved the conflic. Courageous and Overcomer movies are differences in, major caracther (Courageous: Nathan Hayes and Overcomer: Jhon Harrison) and basic conflic (Courageous: Fatherhood and Overcomer :Basketball Coach).
